Job summary

New York Air Brake, a Knorr-Bremse group company, is offering an internship in Springfield, MO. This hands-on program focuses on improving Buyer/Planner processes, demand trend reporting, and inventory control within a fast-paced supply chain team.

You will work 40 hours per week from May through August, with a pay rate between $18.00 and $25.00 per hour, based on academics. Location: Springfield, MO, on-site.

Qualifications

• Education in Business, Supply Chain or Manufacturing with GPA ≥3.0.
• Strong communication and analytical abilities.
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and identify improvement opportunities in Buyer/Planner transactional activity.
• Coordinate with Supply Chain Manager to create reporting tools and trend demand.
• Turn and Inventory Control performance.
• Analyze Materials Storage Areas to reduce IWD and resolve back-flushing issues.
