Job summary

Cemex US is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to generate monthly demand plans based on the S&OP consensus. You will work with Commercial and Operations to validate and optimize plans using statistical demand analysis to reduce forecast error and better serve customers.

The role emphasizes forecasting models, data analysis, and cross-functional collaboration to drive supply chain efficiency. Strong Excel and SAP IBP experience is valued.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in analytics, engineering, mathematics, supply chain, or related field.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong systems aptitude and advanced Excel skills.

Responsibilities

  • Run monthly and weekly statistical demand models to support the supply optimization model.
  • Maintain and improve forecasting levels and models to reduce forecast error.
  • Review commercial forecasts and collaborate with the commercial team to improve accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly forecast accuracy reports for S&OP stakeholders.
  • Support logistics planning budget processes.
  • Analyze market and demand fluctuations to improve weekly planning inputs.
  • Advise the S&OP team on how demand events impact sales using statistical forecasts.
