Job summary

The Cemex US Scottsdale location seeks an Analyst Information to manage financial and management reporting, forecasting and budgeting for assigned operations. You will support the Regional Operations Manager, Plant Managers and their teams in maintaining strong financial controls, analyzing P&L, inventories and costs.

Responsibilities include coordinating with procurement, leading annual spare part inventories, preparing significant financial data for Division, Region and Corporate management,

Qualifications

• 1+ years of financial management experience; Industry experience helpful.
• Diplomacy and ability to function as a leader in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Acts as primary accounting support to the South and Southwest Florida Aggregate operations.
• Works with vendors and the CEMEX procurement organization.
• Leads the spare part inventory count twice annually.
• Calculates finished and raw material inventory variances twice annually.
• Creates purchase orders and check requests for the environmental department, public relations, and limited other needs.
• Participates in the timely and accurate preparation and/or review of all significant financial information provided to Division, Region and Corporate management related to these sites. Duties include monthly closing, forecast updates, capital and operating budget preparation.
• Participates in operational benchmarking and other monthly performance analysis.
• Supports the Engineering department with project cost tracking, monthly reporting and creation of purchase requisitions.
