Job summary

CEMEX seeks a Supply Chain Analyst in Houston, TX to generate the monthly demand plan based on the S&OP consensus, collaborating with Commercial and Operations to validate and optimize plans. Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain, or related field.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects successfully.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong systems aptitude and advanced knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Run monthly and weekly statistical demand models to feed the supply optimization model and guide commercial planners.
  • Maintain, test and improve statistical forecasting levels to improve forecast results.
  • Review and analyze commercial forecast to spot opportunities and improve accuracy.
  • Prepare and distribute monthly forecast accuracy reports to S&OP stakeholders.
  • Support logistics planning budgets and ad-hoc regional analysis.
