The Boring Company in Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Supply Chain Specialist to develop and manage the supply chain for materials, equipment, and services. This in-office role focuses on timely resource availability and coordination with drivers and vendors.

You will optimize costs with just-in-time delivery, local sourcing, and strategic partnerships, while monitoring shipments, predicting bottlenecks, and adjusting plans in real time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or equivalent experience.
• Experience in fleet dispatching, trucking logistics, or supply chain management.
• Strong time management and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the supply chain for materials, equipment, and services.
• Collaborate with suppliers, manufacturers, and logistics providers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Implement supply chain strategies to optimize costs and delivery performance.
• Monitor supply chain performance and adjust plans in real time.
• Coordinate and schedule truck drivers for deliveries and site work.
• Communicate with drivers and monitor routes and delays.
• Supervise allocation of trucks and heavy equipment on site.
• Resolve dispatching issues and reallocate resources as needed.
• Source rental equipment from vendors and evaluate options.
• Execute purchase orders and communicate order status.
• Evaluate supplier quotes and maintain vendor relationships.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast needs.
• Resolve invoice issues with suppliers.
• Manage rental equipment delivery and return.
