Job summary

The Boring Company is seeking a Supply Chain and Fleet Dispatch Coordinator to lead materials, equipment, and services sourcing. You will collaborate with vendors and logistics partners to keep projects on track and cost-efficient, coordinating drivers and site deliveries with real-time adjustments.

You will engage in purchasing, invoicing, and vendor negotiation while ensuring timely availability of resources for tunneling projects. The role may require extended hours and weekend work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
• Experience in fleet dispatching or trucking logistics.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work extended hours as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage the supply chain for materials, equipment, and services.
• Collaborate with suppliers and logistics providers to ensure reliable supply chains.
• Implement cost-saving strategies such as just-in-time delivery and local sourcing.
• Monitor shipments and inventory to prevent shortages and overstocking.
• Coordinate and schedule truck drivers for deliveries and site tasks.
• Resolve dispatching issues and reallocate resources to keep sites moving.
• Source rental equipment from vendors and evaluate options based on cost‑effectiveness.
• Process purchase orders and communicate status to internal customers.
