Job summary

The Boring Company in Las Vegas seeks a Fleet Manager to lead truck drivers, oversee fleet operations, and ensure CDL compliance across shifts. You will hire, onboard, train drivers, manage fleet registrations, and coordinate maintenance with mechanics to keep operations running smoothly.

Ideal candidates bring 5–7 years in fleet/drivers, strong organizational and communication skills, and proficiency with inventory and procurement software.

Qualifications

• 5 - 7 years of experience with internal fleet / driver management.
• Current CDL required.
• Strong organizational and task-switching skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Ability to work under pressure, compartmentalize and prioritize changing circumstances.
• Proficiency in inventory management and procurement software.

Responsibilities

• Lead team of Boring Company truck drivers and assign tasks.
• Ensure constant transportation support to production operations and oversee fleet activities.
• Hire, onboard and train truck drivers and ensure CDL compliance.
• Manage and maintain fleet registration records for regulatory compliance.
• Oversee onboarding of new equipment and integration into the fleet.
• Define and implement preventive maintenance programs and report on PMs.
• Maintain inventory of trucks, equipment, and parts to ensure 100% accuracy.
