Job summary

Avalign Technologies in Schaumburg, IL is seeking a Financial Analyst to join our finance team. You will prepare reporting and analytics to support growth initiatives and business strategy, maintain pricing analytics, and assist with month-end close processes.

You will work with ERP systems, ensure GAAP compliance, and collaborate with partners across the organization to forecast, budget, and analyze financial performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting plus 2-3 years related financial analysis experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP and federal and state financial regulations.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; team oriented.

Responsibilities

• Prepare reporting and analytics for growth initiatives and business strategy.
• Maintain pricing and provide pricing analytics.
• Create reporting and analytics for German and domestic vendors.
• Support E&O initiatives across the surgical business.
• Responsible for special projects to improve profitability, processes and performance.
• Vendors expedite reports and customers open order reports.
• Support month-end close process.
• Initiate journal entries related to the assigned functional responsibilities.
• Research and prepare variance analysis and explanations.
• Create ad hoc month end reports/analytics as requested.
• Assist management with financial analysis, forecasting and planning.
