Description
About Anyware

Anyware Robotics builds general-purpose mobile manipulator robots for industrial applications. Our robots are trusted by customers across logistics, retail, and manufacturing, supporting applications such as truck unloading, mobile palletizing, and machine tending.

The Role

Most supply chain internships hand you a process to follow. Here, you'll help build one from scratch.

Anyware Robotics is scaling Pixmo - our award-winning robot deployed in production at customer sites - and the supply chain behind it is being built right now: supplier network, ERP system,

procurement workflows, automation tools. You'll work at the intersection of engineering and supply chain, managing technical projects with overseas suppliers, running our ERP day to day, and using AI coding tools to automate the workflows you own.

This is not a paperwork role. Working with suppliers here means understanding the engineering -reading drawings, translating requirements precisely, and holding technical discussions about how a

part gets made. By the end, you won't just have supply chain experience - you'll have built the supply chain of a robotics startup from the ground up.

What You'll Do:
  • Manage technical projects with overseas suppliers end to end: transfer engineering requirements clearly, track milestones, and drive parts from drawing to validated delivery.
  • Hold technical discussions with suppliers on manufacturing processes (CNC machining, sheet metal, battery assembly), DFM feedback, and quality issues - you are the bridge between our engineers and theirs.
  • Evaluate supplier capabilities and use that knowledge to decide what's buildable, by whom, at what cost.
ERP & Supply Chain Operations
  • Run daily operations in our ERP system (ERPNext): purchase orders, receiving, inventory, BOM and item master maintenance.
  • Own the data quality that the whole company depends on - costing, stock accuracy, procurement status.
  • Support international logistics: shipping, customs, and supplier payments.
AI & Supply Chain Automation
  • Use AI coding tools (vibe coding - Python, APIs, LLMs) to automate the supply chain workflows you run: automated quoting, PO generation, inventory intelligence, supplier communication pipelines.
  • Whatever you find repetitive, you're empowered to automate - with real data and real stakes.
What We Are Looking For:
  • Engineering background - Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, Manufacturing, or a related field. You can read drawings and hold your own in a technical discussion.
  • Native-level Mandarin Chinese - reading, writing, speaking, and listening - for daily communication with overseas suppliers.
  • ERP experience - comfortable with the daily operation of an ERP system such as ERPNext, SAP, Oracle, Odoo, or a similar platform, or able to get there quickly.
  • Familiarity with vibe coding - you use AI tools to write working code and can build automation for real workflows.
  • Genuine interest in building a supply chain from scratch - this role is deliberately broad.

We're less interested in a checklist of credentials and more interested in how you think. The strongest candidates demonstrate:

  • Systematic, methodical thinking - you break complex problems into manageable parts and work through them with structure.
  • Independent, critical judgment - you challenge assumptions, investigate root causes, and form your own well-reasoned opinions.
  • The confidence to speak up - you share ideas clearly, including with senior leaders, and respectfully push back when something does not make sense.

This is a fast-paced startup environment. Ownership, curiosity, and adaptability matter more than any single qualification on a resume.

Nice To Have
  • Hands-on CAD experience - proficiency with SolidWorks or another CAD tool.
  • Manufacturing process exposure - familiarity with machining, sheet metal, and weldments.
  • Supplier experience in China - prior internship or project experience working with suppliers in China.
Why Anyware
  • An A+ Team: Anyware is built by a top tier team. Collectively, our team has won six Best Paper Awards and Finalists, including the ICRA 2025 Best Paper Award and ICRA 2024 Best Paper Award.
  • An A+ Robot: Our robot Pixmo has won multiple awards, including a RBR50 and Best Innovation Awards at both ProMat 2025 and MODEX 2026, North America’s largest logistics automation exhibitions. Notably, this is the first time in history that a company has won this prestigious award back-to-back.
  • Real Impact: You will contribute directly to deploying the core manipulation intelligence that powers every Pixmo deployment. Your work does not stop at a demo. It ships into real customer sites and solves real problems at scale.
  • Fast Growth: You will sharpen your skills with strong ownership and real responsibility. The team size is doubling every year, creating plenty of room for talent to step in and shine.
Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is from $25-$35/hour depending on experience and qualifications.

Benefits include daily meal, per diem, and unlimited snacks and beverages in the office.

Equal Opportunity Statement

Anyware is an equal opportunity employer. We are committed to creating an inclusive workplace and welcome applicants from all backgrounds. Employment decisions are based on qualifications, merit, and business needs.
