Job summary

Casper's Ice Cream in Utah is seeking a Director of Supply Chain to build and lead a disciplined, scalable, high-performing organization. You will own procurement, inventory, S&OP, demand planning, logistics, warehousing and distribution to translate customer demand into executable plans while balancing cost, service, capacity and risk.

As a senior leader, you will guide functional teams and partner with Operations, Sales, Finance, Quality and the executive team to scale with the company\'s

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field is required.
• 8+ years in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, or manufacturing.
• 5+ years of leadership including managing others.
• Food manufacturing or CPG experience preferred.
• Experience leading multiple supply chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, inventory management, logistics and analytics.
• Experience managing supplier relationships and negotiations.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and planning tech.
• Ability to influence senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Build an integrated supply chain strategy with clear ownership and KPIs.
• Own a disciplined monthly S&OP process to improve forecast accuracy and surface risks.
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and contingency planning.
• Optimize inventory and working capital across materials and finished goods.
• Improve OTIF while reducing freight costs and premium shipping reliance.
• Strengthen warehouse and freezer operations for safety and accuracy.
• Establish an executive supply chain scorecard with total-cost discipline.
• Coach and develop leaders of Procurement/Inventory, Logistics, S&OP, Warehouse Operations.

Casper's Ice Cream is hiring a Director of Supply Chain to build and lead a disciplined, scalable, high-performing supply chain organization. You'll own the full picture: procurement, inventory, S&OP and demand planning, logistics, warehousing, and distribution. The job is to turn customer demand into an executable plan that balances cost, inventory, service, capacity, and risk.

This is a senior leadership role with real influence. You'll lead a team of functional leaders and partner closely with Operations, Sales, Finance, Quality, and our executive team.

Casper's Ice Cream is a 100 year old Utah manufacturer that has been making ice cream treats people love for generations. As we grow, we're looking for a supply chain leader who can help us scale with the same care and quality that built our reputation.

What You'll Do

• Build one integrated supply chain strategy with clear ownership, KPIs, and priorities tied to company goals
• Own a disciplined monthly S&OP process that improves forecast accuracy and surfaces risks early
• Lead strategic sourcing, supplier performance, and contingency planning for critical ingredients and packaging
• Optimize inventory and working capital across raw materials, packaging, and finished goods
• Drive strong OTIF performance while reducing freight costs and reliance on premium shipping
• Strengthen warehouse and freezer operations for safety, food safety, accuracy, and future growth
• Establish an executive supply chain scorecard and bring financial discipline through total-cost decision making
• Coach and develop the leaders of Procurement/Inventory, Logistics, S&OP, and Warehouse Operations

What You Bring

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Operations, Engineering, Finance, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, procurement, planning, logistics, warehousing, manufacturing, or related disciplines preferred.
• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience, including responsibility for leaders or managers.
• Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing or CPG experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple supply chain functions.
• Strong knowledge of S&OP, demand planning, procurement, inventory management, logistics, warehousing, and supply chain analytics.
• Demonstrated experience managing significant supplier relationships and commercial negotiations.
• Strong financial and analytical capabilities.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems and supply chain planning technology.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence senior leaders.
• Strong written, verbal, presentation, and executive communication skills.
