Job summary

Talent Acquisitions Group Inc. seeks a Director of Supply Chain to own end-to-end purchasing, planning and sourcing.

You will lead a small team, own material flow from supplier to manufacturing, and partner with functions like quality, export compliance, and finance to meet customer commitments. You will drive purchasing and production planning, optimize ERP/MRP parameters, and rebuild supplier terms while expanding the supplier base and reducing landed costs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of supply chain experience in manufacturing.
• 3+ years leading the function.
• Direct ownership of purchasing and production planning in a high mix environment.
• Working knowledge of ERP/MRP to diagnose and correct planning logic.

Responsibilities

• Own the end-to-end supply chain function from supplier through receiving and inventory to manufacturing.
• Lead purchasing and production planning, including demand and supply alignment, order timing, and planning parameter governance in the ERP.
• Rebuild supplier relationships and payment terms, and move the vendor base to standard commercial terms.
• Execute a strategic sourcing plan that expands the supplier base, removes single source exposure, and reduces total landed cost, including international suppliers.
• Own inventory performance across approximately 3,000 SKUs, including accuracy, cycle counting, turns, and safety stock strategy.

Director of Supply Chain - End to end purchasing, planning, and sourcing

Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Industry: Products Manufacturing

Compensation: $140K to $160K+ base with STI

Ideal Candidate

Strong supply chain leadership experience in high mix manufacturing with direct ownership of both purchasing and production planning. Hands-on operator who works in the detail, corrects planning logic inside the ERP, and delivers results with the team in place.

Position Overview

The Director of Supply Chain owns all material flow from the supplier through receiving and inventory to the handoff into manufacturing, including purchasing, production planning, inventory, vendor management, and strategic sourcing. The role reports to the Chief Executive Officer, leads a team of two buyers and a planner, and partners closely with manufacturing, quality, export compliance, and finance to align material availability with customer commitments.

Lead Responsibilities

• Own the end to end supply chain function from supplier through receiving and inventory to manufacturing


• Lead purchasing and production planning, including demand and supply alignment, order timing, and planning parameter governance in the ERP


• Rebuild supplier relationships and payment terms, and move the vendor base to standard commercial terms


• Execute a strategic sourcing plan that expands the supplier base, removes single source exposure, and reduces total landed cost, including international suppliers


• Own inventory performance across roughly 3,000 SKUs, including accuracy, cycle counting, turns, and safety stock strategy

Desired Skills and Experience

• 8 or more years of supply chain experience in manufacturing, including 3 or more years leading the function


• Direct ownership of both purchasing and production planning in a high mix, broad SKU environment


• Proven results in strategic sourcing, supplier development, international sourcing and cost reduction


• Working command of ERP and MRP systems at the level required to diagnose and correct planning logic


• Bachelor's degree in supply chain, engineering, or business required, APICS CPIM or CSCP preferred
