Job summary

Jereh North American Group and GenSystems Power Solutions seek a Supply Chain Director to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, materials planning, inventory, and execution for our growing power generation and industrial equipment business.

The role requires building a robust North American supplier base, optimizing project costs, and ensuring manufacturing readiness as we expand our energy sector footprint in North America.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years in progressive supply chain, sourcing, procurement, or materials management.
  • Experience in industrial equipment, power generation, or capital equipment.
  • Proven track record leading strategic sourcing and high-value contract negotiations.
  • Experience building domestic and international supplier networks.
  • Knowledge of supplier qualification, performance management, RFQ/RFP, cost analysis, and terms.
  • Experience collaborating with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, and Operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the North American supply chain strategy across strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, materials planning, inventory, and logistics.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for gas turbine packages, rotating equipment, electrical systems, mechanical components, fabricated equipment, controls, balance-of-plant equipment, and other critical project materials.
  • Identify, qualify, negotiate with, and develop North American and international suppliers supporting power generation and industrial equipment requirements.
  • Lead major RFQ/RFP activity, supplier selection, commercial negotiations, contract development, pricing strategy, and long-term supplier agreements.
  • Develop strategic supplier relationships with major OEMs and equipment manufacturers supporting turbine, power generation, electrical, mechanical, and microgrid projects.
  • Evaluate supplier capability across cost, quality, technical capability, capacity, lead time, delivery performance, and commercial risk.
  • Establish supplier scorecards, KPIs, performance reviews, corrective-action processes, and supplier-development programs.
  • Partner with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, Field Service, Sales, and Finance to align sourcing plans with project and production requirements.
  • Improve material availability while reducing excess inventory, lead times, expedited freight, supply risk, and total landed cost.
  • Establish inventory planning, safety-stock, critical-spares, demand-planning, and working-capital controls.
  • Support international sourcing, import/export activity, freight strategy, customs requirements, Incoterms, and supplier logistics.
  • Build scalable supply chain processes, systems, reporting, and controls as the North American organization continues to grow.
  • Provide executive leadership with visibility into supplier risk, sourcing strategy, cost reduction, inventory, delivery performance, and major supply chain initiatives.

Jereh North American Group and GenSystems Power Solutions are expanding their North American operations and are seeking an experienced Supply Chain Director to lead strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier development, materials planning, inventory, and supply chain execution supporting our growing power generation and industrial equipment business.

This position will have direct responsibility for building and strengthening the North American supply base supporting gas turbine power systems, electrical and mechanical equipment, engineered components, service parts, and developing microgrid and distributed-power projects.

The right candidate will come from an equipment-intensive environment where supply chain performance directly affects manufacturing, project execution, equipment delivery, cost, and customer commitments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the North American supply chain strategy across strategic sourcing, procurement, supplier management, materials planning, inventory, and logistics.
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies for gas turbine packages, rotating equipment, electrical systems, mechanical components, fabricated equipment, controls, balance-of-plant equipment, and other critical project materials.

Required Qualifications
  • 10+ years of progressive supply chain, strategic sourcing, procurement, or materials-management experience.
  • Significant leadership experience within industrial equipment, power generation, energy equipment, oilfield equipment, rotating equipment, engineered manufacturing, or a comparable capital-equipment environment.
  • Demonstrated experience leading strategic sourcing and contract negotiations for high-value equipment, components, and services.
  • Experience developing and managing domestic and international supplier networks.
  • Strong knowledge of supplier qualification, supplier performance management, RFQ/RFP processes, cost analysis, contract terms, and commercial negotiations.
  • Experience working directly with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, Project Management, and Operations.
  • Working knowledge of inventory management, material planning, logistics, ERP systems, and supply chain KPIs.
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Operations, or a related discipline.
Preferred Experience
  • Gas turbine or power-generation equipment supply chain experience.
  • Relationships or sourcing experience involving major turbine, rotating-equipment, electrical, or industrial OEMs.
  • Experience sourcing equipment or components from Baker Hughes, Siemens Energy, GE Vernova, Solar Turbines, Caterpillar, Rolls-Royce/MTU, or comparable manufacturers.
  • Experience supporting microgrid, distributed generation, data center power, oil and gas, or other mission-critical energy projects.
  • Experience developing a North American supplier base while coordinating with international manufacturing operations.
