Direct Hire Opportunity for a Supply Chain Coordinator - Pittsburgh, PA Location

This position is part of the material management department for a multi-plant manufacturing company. You will have the opportunity to interact with sales, logistics, customers and vendors.

Job duties & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate communication and order management from sales to production and outside processors to customer delivery
• Monitoring orders to ensure accuracy to customer specifications and delivery dates
• Negotiate pricing with vendors
• Contribute to systems improvements in managing flow of materials and automating tasks
• Project coordination and special projects as assigned

Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or related field
• 2-5 years of years in supply chain, customer service, or sales support
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to multi-task and work within deadlines
• Experience working in an industrial setting and/or steel industry preferred
