Job summary

AMD is seeking a Supply Chain Intern/Co-op in Austin, TX to join the Supply Chain Organization and support planning and execution teams. You will gain hands-on exposure to end-to-end operations, working with Capacity Planning, Global Logistics, and PIB Planning on real-world projects.

Responsibilities include capacity planning, data analysis, dashboard development, and cross-functional collaboration to drive improvements.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a U.S.-based Bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Business Administration / Operations, or related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and strong PowerPoint proficiency.
• Ability to work independently while thriving in a cross-functional environment.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
• Experience with Power BI, dashboards, and data visualization.
• Knowledge of SQL, DAX, VBA, or data science concepts.
• Familiarity with MRP systems, capacity modeling, or program management methodologies.
• Experience working with large datasets and automation initiatives.
• This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Support capacity planning, logistics visibility, and PIB planning initiatives for AMD products.
• Analyze supply chain data to identify constraints, risks, and opportunities and model scenarios for planning.
• Assist in forecasting, inventory, throughput, and capacity alignment.
• Develop and maintain metrics, dashboards, and leading indicators for data-driven decisions.
• Collaborate with automation, IT, and analytics teams to improve data accuracy.
• Support creation and documentation of NPI and EOL planning.
• Contribute to program management with milestone tracking and executive updates.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Customer Support, Logistics, Factory Planning, Product Planning, Sales, Finance, and BU partners.
• Prepare and present actionable insights to management using data visualization tools.
• Participate in initiatives to improve supply chain visibility, automation, and efficiency.
