Job summary

Rivian invites qualified students to join our Spring Co‑Op program in Normal, IL for a full‑time, 40‑hour workweek during Jan–Aug 2027. Interns gain practical supply chain and logistics experience and will be considered for future opportunities within our Supply Chain and Logistics teams.

Eligible candidates are undergrad or graduate students enrolled throughout the term. No visa sponsorship is offered for this internship.

Qualifications

• Active enrollment in an accredited Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD program in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, or related STEM field.
• Solid understanding of core supply chain concepts (inventory optimization, lead time reduction, warehouse layout, distribution management).
• High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data manipulation is required.
• Ability to apply first principles to streamline material flow.
• Demonstrated ability to solve complex supply chain problems and work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and optimize material delivery paths, inventory tracking networks, and warehouse routing across Rivian sites.
• Analyze operational datasets using Excel, SQL, or Tableau to identify bottlenecks and apply Lean principles to improve flow.
• Collaborate with procurement and external vendors to track shipments, reduce lead times, and mitigate shortages.
• Partner with production and plant teams to align delivery schedules with high-volume targets.
