Job summary

Rivian invites driven students to join our Spring Co-Op program in a data science and analytics capacity. You will design, train, and deploy machine learning models, and build optimization algorithms to improve supply chain performance.

You’ll collaborate with data engineers on large-scale data and create automated CI/CD pipelines, translating real-world bottlenecks into actionable AI solutions. Ideal candidates are enrolled in an accredited program for the full duration, with availability for

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Strong Python and SQL skills; experience with AI/ML frameworks.
• Hands-on optimization solver experience (Gurobi/COIN-OR/SciPy/OR-Tools).
• Solid understanding of inventory control (EOQ, safety stock) and S&OP.
• Experience building cloud data pipelines (AWS/Azure/GCP) with Spark/Databricks/Snowflake.
• Experience with Generative AI workflows for document processing or decision support.
• Familiarity with integrating models into SCM/ERP platforms (SAP IBP, Oracle SCM, Blue Yonder).
• Knowledge of digital twins or RL in supply chains.

Responsibilities
