Job summary

Singer Group in Carson, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Capacity Analyst to develop and maintain a rolling capacity model that highlights supply risks over a 12–18 month horizon. The role requires close collaboration with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Planning to identify and resolve capacity issues.

You will lead capacity reviews, establish KPIs, and drive continuous improvement to meet performance targets for cost, quality, and delivery.

Qualifications

• Experience building capacity models and capacity risk analysis.
• Ability to coordinate across Eng., Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Planning.
• Strong data accuracy in MRP and master data management.

Responsibilities

• Develops, builds, and maintains a capacity data model aligned to production schedules.
• Analyzes current capacity across production suppliers and escalates risks.
• Drives capacity improvement projects to enable timely capacity increases.
• Collaborates with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Planning to resolve capacity issues.
• Leads regular capacity review meetings with suppliers and reports status.
• Defines and tracks KPIs for the Supply Chain Capacity team.
• Fosters cross-functional teams and continuous improvement to meet cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Status updates on critical supply issues to the team.
• Ensures demand and part master data accuracy within MRP.

Job description

The Supply Chain Capacity Analyst is responsible for developing and building a capacity model to highlight supply capacity risks over a rolling 12 to 18 month window and escalating supply capacity risks in support of operations.

• Develops, builds, and maintains a capacity data model that can be automatically updated against the production schedule.
• Analyzes current capacity across production suppliers and escalates risks.
• Progam manages capacity improvement projects to ensure on-time implementation of capacity increases across the supply base.
• Day-to-day contact with Engineering, Procurement, Supplier Quality, and Supply Chain Planning to develop solutions for capacity issues.
• Holds regular capacity review meetings with assigned suppliers to report current capacity status and escalates risks.
• Develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the Supply Chain Capacity team.
• Builds cross-functional teams and champions continuous improvement initiatives to meet or exceed cost, quality, and delivery goals.
• Proactively status and update team on critical supply issues.
• Ensures the accuracy of demand and part master data within MRP.
• Executes risk management analysis, taking into consideration past performance data, demand vs. supply, and lead time stack-ups from piece part to integration.
• Works in a cross-functional team environment as a strong team player and demonstrate ability to work with other functional groups to achieve company-wide goals.
