Job summary

Vincere is seeking a Supply Chain Buyer in Addison, IL for on-site, temp-to-perm placement. You will oversee timely procurement of materials, manage inventories, and support production and deliveries in a manufacturing setting.

The role operates Monday to Friday, with standard daytime hours, and requires ERP experience, vendor management, and continuous improvement focus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations or Supply Chain required.
• 3+ years of manufacturing experience preferred.
• Experience with purchasing, expediting and ERP/MRP systems essential.
• APICS CPIM/CSCP or CPSM a plus (willingness to obtain).

Responsibilities

• Procure materials to ensure timely production and deliveries.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with Production Control.
• Manage POs, supplier schedules, expediting and shortages.
• Lead supplier evaluations, RFQs and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering and Sales on forecasting.

I have a client located in the Addison, IL area that has an opportunity for a Supply Chain Buyer.

In this role you will be working as a Supply Chain Buyer for a client that is in the electronic manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting production and customer deliveries.

This is a temp to possible permrole that must be performed on-site. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm.

The pay is $35.00 to $45.00 an hour based on experience.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain


• 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment


• Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office


• Must have worked in ERP systems


• APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM certs are a plus (must have a willingness to obtain)


• Experience with procuring raw materials and components


• Experience coordinating inventory planning, replenishment, and forecasting activities with Production Control, Operations, Engineering, and Sales


• Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, manage PO's, delivery schedules, expedites, and material shortages


• Experience leading supplier negotiations, RFQs, cost reduction initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvement efforts


• Experience with inventory accuracy initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvements
