Job summary

Good Samaritan is seeking dedicated personnel to support patient care through efficient storeroom management and order fulfillment. Responsibilities include filling patient orders via EPIC, maintaining central storeroom stock, and supporting stock movement on the 7th floor.

This role emphasizes inventory rotation, housekeeping of the storeroom, and readiness of emergency supplies, with back-up support for par carts as needed.

Qualifications

• Supply chain experience preferred.
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended hours at a time.
• Must be able to lift 25+ pounds on a regular basis.

• Labels “special handling” items in the storeroom and checks overage pallet daily for items that need to be stocked.
• Assist as back up for par carts.

3. Patient Sales.

Secondary Job Duties:

1. Fills and delivers all storeroom orders on a weekly pick list.

2. Assists with inventory cycle counts and physical inventory.

3. Maintains the storeroom in a clean and organized manner, and removes all boxes and trash accumulated each day.

4. Removal of outdated items from the storeroom before expiration date.

5. Responsible for organization and cleanliness of the storeroom, including shelving units, bins, and floor.

6. Assists with par cart orders.

7. Assist with placing Storeroom orders.

8. Assist with building numbers in the Material Management System.

9. Help maintain physical signage in storeroom and other areas of overflow storage for conversion and substitutions.

10. Maintain current records regarding product substitutions and conversions.

11. Assist with picking orders and function as a backup for receiving.

Job Specifications:

• EDUCATION: High School diploma
• EXPERIENCE:
  • Supply Chain experience preferred
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended hours at a time
