Job summary

WellSpan Health in Lebanon is seeking a Logistics and Distribution associate to support system-wide operations in Lebanon. You will issue supplies, maintain inventories, and prepare items for shipment while adhering to SOPs and safety standards.

Responsibilities include receiving, stocking, counting, shipping, and distributing supplies; coordinating with warehouses and vendors; and supporting inventory reporting and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Less than 1 year relevant experience required.
• Must possess a valid driver's license in the current state of residence.

Responsibilities

• Moves/handles items such as, supplies, linen, mail, print products, equipment, etc.
• Performs receiving, storing, cleaning, issuing, counting, shipping and ordering of supplies and equipment; complies with US Postal Service Regulations.
• Works to meet customer expectations - right stuff, right place, right time, right condition, right quantity, right price.
• Works in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Supports the capture and reporting of KPIs/Measures that drive Continuous Improvement.
• Works with managers, supervisors, technicians, warehouses, mail services, print providers, couriers.
• Stocks vendor deliveries in designated areas.
• Receives requests for items, selects from inventory, loads distribution vehicles and distributes to designated areas.
• Delivers items to requisitioning departments and obtains authorized signatures for accepted items.
• Inventories user storage areas and replenishes inventory or par levels.
• Prepares routine inventory reports and maintains records of in-house and on-order supplies.
• Supports periodic and special inventories; participates in year-end inventories in cooperation with the Controller.
• Investigates discrepancies and reconciles; monitors expiration dates; processes inventory returns.

Driver's License Statement
