Job summary

IDEXX is seeking a Supply Chain Associate to perform distribution, materials handling, inventory control and instrument logistics in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role includes order fulfillment for national and international customers, documentation accuracy, and ongoing process improvements.

You'll support shipping, invoicing, and repair logistics, maintain safety and accuracy, and work closely with teams to ensure timely deliveries and high service levels.

• Prepares documentation and products, ensures accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoots issues.
• Assists with international shipping; reviews and approves vendor bills.
• Maintains a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Investigates inventory inaccuracies and provides root cause analysis.
• Supports inventory processes and cycle counts to improve accuracy and order fulfillment.
• Moves and stores equipment and materials for internal and external customers.
• Supports instrument repair shipping/receiving and field replacement programs.

Job description

As a Supply Chain Associate at IDEXX, you perform a variety of physical, clerical and customer support tasks associated with distribution, materials handling, inventory control and instrument logistics. You will be a key contributor at one of the largest veterinary diagnostic companies in the world, joining a fast-paced work environment that encourages teamwork, quality, and offers opportunities for personal growth. In This Role

• Picks, packs, loads and ships products to national and international customers and distribution centers
• Prepares documentation and products, ensures accuracy of documentation and shipments, and troubleshoots and resolves issues as required
• Assists with or coordinates international shipping ; reviews, reconciles and approves all incoming international vendor bills
• Maintains a clean, orderly and safe warehouse and environment
• Investigates and resolves inventory inaccuracies and provides root cause analysis and recommendations for corrective actions
• Supports inventory processes, solutions and strategies for the continuous improvement of inventory accuracy and order fulfillment quality; includes cycle counts, data entry, tracking, reconciling, documenting and reporting
• Moves and stores equipment, raw materials and inventory for internal and external customers
• Supports instrument repair process including daily and routine shipping and receiving; tracks incoming and repaired materials, assuring system and operational readiness for the repair of instruments
• Administers instrument repair and field replacement programs, coordinates all failure analysis and reports, issues periodic reports on outstanding deliveries for inbound and outbound units, and coordinates all field returns, worldwide

What You Need To Succeed

• High School diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Associates degree or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to work well under pressure and tight time constraints
• Ability to effectively function in a team environment
• Ability to prioritize work and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Good computer skills and knowledge including SAP, Microsoft Word and Excel preferred
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to work flexible hours
• Able to follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and applicable ISO regulations
• Able to properly lift up to 70 pounds; ability to move up to 100 pounds with assistance
• For distribution and material handling work: Certificate to operate a forklift may be required; certificate to work with hazardous materials may be required; knowledge of export documentation and international traffic may be required; previous experience with dangerous goods is preferred; knowledge of customs rules, regulations and export documentation preferred

• The hours for this position areMonday – Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM.
• The shifts and hours may vary slightly depending on business needs.
