Part-time Shift(s): MON TUE WED THU FRI 7:00am - 5:00pm

10 - 28 hours/week

OVERVIEW:

Embark on a dynamic journey as a Part-time Supply Chain Associate, where every day offers a new opportunity to immerse yourself in supply chain excellence. You will manage inventory and support business-to-business operations by handling procurement, sourcing, and quoting functions to meet customer needs and drive business success. This position is at our branch located at 1301 W Chicago Ave, East Chicago, IN 46312. After onboarding and training, a flexible schedule may be available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Managing branch inventory levels
• Administering procurement functions, including purchase orders and backorder management
• Estimating/quoting prices and sourcing products
• Coordinating resources to respond to customer supply chain needs
• Supporting accounts receivable activities
• Making deliveries with a company vehicle as needed
• Performing other duties to ensure branch success

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid driver's license with good driving record
• Currently pursuing or have a degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, Management, Marketing, Sales, or related field OR relevant work experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient with computers
• Motivated, customer service-oriented, and self-directed
• Strong math skills, attention to detail, and sense of urgency
• Organized with good planning and prioritization skills
• Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
• Ability to lift packages weighing 25-75 lbs
• Pass drug screening as applicable
