The work:

A Manager in Transportation Strategy designs and implements scalable logistics solutions to optimize transportation performance across modes, costs, and service levels. Responsibilities include transportation procurement, network design, fleet management, and digital enablement.

1. Partner with senior executives to shape transportation strategies aligned with broader supply chain goals and measurable business impact.
2. Address logistics challenges such as changing costs, capacity constraints, and modal trade-offs through data-driven strategies.
3. Lead projects on transportation network optimization, including mode selection, route design, and service level analysis.
4. Develop cost-to-serve models and performance frameworks for procurement and fleet strategies, including carrier sourcing options.
5. Leverage analytics and digital technology to enhance visibility, performance tracking, and exception management.
6. Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration among logistics, analytics, procurement, and operations experts.
7. Contribute to business development through proposals and thought leadership on emerging trends.
8. Encourage clients to adopt innovative transportation technologies and digital solutions for growth.
9. Design logistics strategies that enhance supply chain resilience and sustainability, positively impacting communities.

Here’s what you need:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain initiatives, focusing on logistics and transportation strategy.
• A Bachelor’s Degree.

• You have strong data and analytics skills for optimizing transportation networks.
• You can identify and explain new value in logistics and transportation simply.
• You have experience presenting value propositions to C-suite and senior executives.
• You have worked on strategic cost reduction projects.
• You are familiar with transportation master data, TMS, and network optimization principles.

• You excel at building relationships, managing complex programs, and demonstrating leadership.
• You hold an MBA or equivalent degree.
