Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1 year of inventory/auditing/transportation experience preferred.
• Fundamental understanding of transportation, supply chain and logistics.
• Data Analysis skills required.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Weigh or count items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards; track and trace, production schedule analysis, and exception management.
• Assist in the development and presentation of customer analytics, key trends, and solution proposals; contribute to continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
• Work with customers to resolve stock shortages, meet deadlines, and answer questions; communicate critical issues to manager and customer.
• Examine current processes and implement improvements to drive out waste; support engineering in transportation design changes.
• Track shipments with suppliers to meet deadlines and resolve issues in transit or at customer facility.
• As assigned by the Manager to support various projects.
