Dahl Consulting is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support product rebranding and lifecycle transitions in Irvine, CA. The role blends planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and process improvement to drive seamless transitions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting supply chain planning, production scheduling, procurement, or related functions.
  • Experience managing BOM changes and Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) processes.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

  • Develop and coordinate Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) plans to facilitate smooth inventory and production transitions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize scrap, waste, and obsolete materials.
  • Support production scheduling activities for assigned product lines, including packaging, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
  • Create procurement plans for raw materials and manage purchase orders to ensure supply continuity throughout transition periods.
  • Analyze inventory performance, capacity constraints, service levels, and operational risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Prepare and present reports, metrics, and planning insights to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, planning, and operations to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives that enhance planning efficiency, reduce waste, and improve responsiveness.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and ensure alignment between supply chain activities and project timelines.

Job Description

The Supply Chain Analyst will support supply chain planning and execution activities related to product rebranding and lifecycle transitions.   • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting product rebranding, packaging changes, or product lifecycle transition projects.
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA.
  • APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with inventory optimization and supply chain planning tools.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
