Job summary

ASK Consulting is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a 12-month contract in Plano, TX. The role focuses on demand planning, forecasting, and analytics to support major National Retail customers.

Candidates should have 3–10 years in supply chain, strong Excel skills (macros a plus), and the ability to collaborate across Sales, Marketing, and Logistics. The position is fully onsite, and candidates must be directly contracted by ASK Consulting.

• Not a purely temporary contract; potential for long-term extension beyond initial assignment.
• Focus on operations with major National Retail customers.

Responsibilities

• Demand Forecasting, Customer process identification and improvement, Root Cause analysis, Sales trend analysis.
• Maintain strong relationships with customers and Client Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Order Management, Logistics.
• Weekly Demand Forecasting and updating in systems; Sales Trend Reporting.
• Ensure orders are shipped to meet delivery dates; resolve order/shipping/delivery issues.
• Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis, KPI tracking; Use of supply chain system for order management and reporting.

** Key Responsibilities/Requirements:**

• This position will focus on all operational activities that occur with several major National Retail customers.

• Activities have a direct impact on both sales' revenue and profitability within the assigned account. This position will also maintain strong relationships with customers as well as with Client Sales, Supply Chain, Marketing, Order Management, Logistics and so on.
• Duties & Responsibilities:
• Weekly Demand Forecasting and updating in systems
• Sales Trend Reporting
• Ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner to meet the customers requested delivery date
• Conduct Root Cause analysis
• Managing and resolving matters related to Orders, shipping and delivery
• Process Improvement, Sell Through Analysis (Customer), Sales Forecast to Actual Sales Analysis
• KPI (Baseline Improvement)
• Use of supply chain system for order management and reporting

** Required Skills:**

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent work experience
• 3~10 years related professional experience in Supply Chain and/or Operations
• Forecasting / Demand Planning with retail experience preferred.
• Experience in working directly with customers and maintaining positive relationships
• Proficiency with Advanced Excel data functions including advanced formulas.
• Self-starter with strong focus on exceeding customer satisfaction goals
• Must be comfortable working in a fast paced multi-cultural environment
• SAP/BW/BI Experience also a plus
