Job summary

Sysco is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to provide support for key accounts in Woodridge, IL. You will help improve forecast accuracy, manage stocking for spec materials, and collaborate with Merchandising and Sales on transitions and promotions.

Responsibilities include analyzing data, updating SAP master data, and steering projects to optimize inventory and service levels across multi-unit accounts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or 2+ years in buying, demand management, forecasting, inventory management, or product information management.
• Alternative: High School diploma with 6+ years relevant experience in those areas.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Word.

Responsibilities

• Provides supply chain support for key multi-unit accounts, focusing on forecast accuracy and service levels.
• Review inventory watch lists and work with suppliers/buyers to expedite critical materials.
• Meet with sales to support transitions, watch list maintenance, and supplier issues.

• Update master data settings in SAP and perform requested source changes.
• Analyze data to develop implementation plans and monitor results.

Additionally, the Supply Chain Analyst is responsible for improving inventory performance by optimizing stocking decisions, and providing supply chain support to special projects.**KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES****Required:** Bachelor’s Degree and 2+ years of applicable work experience in the areas of buying, demand management, forecasting, inventory management, or product information management OR High School diploma or GED equivalent and 6+ years of relevant work experience in the areas of buying, demand management, forecasting, inventory management, or product information managementOR equivalent combination of education and experience. Intermediate to Advanced level proficiency working with Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel)**ESSENTIAL DUTIES*** Provides supply chain support for key multi-unit accounts. Review inventory watch lists to ensure forecast accuracy and high service level. Work with suppliers and buyers to expedite critical materials.* Meet with sales as needed to support transitions, watch list maintenance, special projects, and supplier issues. Manage stocking status for spec materials.* Act as liaison between Merchandising and Supply Chain on transitions and promotions.* Collect information regarding Merchandising projects. Run and analyze required data to develop an implementation plan. Execute, monitor and adjust the plan as necessary. Analyze Line Item Diverts and Central Stocking Strategies. Analyze data and make recommendations for changes.* Update material replacements, alternates, complements, and customer material restrictions. Ensure that Master Data Settings (MRP) are correct in SAP.* Perform source changes as requested.* Keep Manager informed of issues within area of assigned responsibility.
