Job summary

Dahl Consulting in Irvine, CA is seeking a Supply Chain Analyst on a 12-month contract to support product rebranding and lifecycle transitions. Qualifications

  • Experience managing BOM changes and PIPO processes.
  • Advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Ability to work independently while coordinating with teams.

  • Identify process improvements to enhance planning efficiency and responsiveness.

About the Role
Our firm is recruiting on behalf of a global healthcare manufacturing organization seeking a Supply Chain Analyst to support large-scale product rebranding and transition initiatives. This role is ideal for a supply chain professional who enjoys working at the intersection of planning, production scheduling, inventory management, and process improvement.
As a key member of the supply chain team, you will coordinate critical activities related to product changes, including Bill of Material (BOM) updates, Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) planning, inventory transitions, procurement planning, and scrap reduction initiatives. You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure business continuity, maintain service levels, and optimize supply chain performance during periods of change.

Job Description
The Supply Chain Analyst will support supply chain planning and execution activities related to product rebranding and lifecycle transitions. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience in manufacturing operations, and the ability to collaborate across multiple business functions to ensure successful implementation of product and packaging changes.
Responsibilities

  • Manage and execute Bill of Material (BOM) updates to support product rebranding and change initiatives.
  • Develop and coordinate Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) plans to facilitate smooth inventory and production transitions.
  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize scrap, waste, and obsolete materials.
  • Support production scheduling activities for assigned product lines, including packaging, semi-finished goods, and finished products.
  • Create procurement plans for raw materials and manage purchase orders to ensure supply continuity throughout transition periods.
  • Analyze inventory performance, capacity constraints, service levels, and operational risks, providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Prepare and present reports, metrics, and planning insights to support business decision-making.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams including manufacturing, procurement, planning, and operations to achieve project objectives.
  • Identify process improvement opportunities and support initiatives that enhance planning efficiency, reduce waste, and improve responsiveness.
  • Maintain accurate planning data and ensure alignment between supply chain activities and project timelines.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations, Business Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment supporting supply chain planning, production scheduling, procurement, or related functions.
  • Experience managing Bill of Material (BOM) changes and Phase In/Phase Out (PIPO) processes.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in dynamic production or planning environments with changing priorities.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis and reporting.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or similar platforms.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong project coordination and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting product rebranding, packaging changes, or product lifecycle transition projects.
  • Experience using SAP S/4HANA.
  • APICS CPIM (Certified in Production and Inventory Management) or CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) certification.
  • Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Lean Manufacturing experience.
  • Experience with inventory optimization and supply chain planning tools.
  • Demonstrated success driving process improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.
