Key Responsibilities We Will Trust You With

The Supply Chain Analyst supports the performance and continuous improvement of the company’s end-to-end supply chain. This role analyzes demand, inventory, purchasing, production, supplier, and logistics data to identify risks, improve service levels, reduce costs, and support effective business decisions.

The ideal candidate combines strong analytical skills with practical knowledge of manufacturing operations, ERP systems, material planning, and inventory management. This position works closely with Supply Chain, Procurement, Operations, Sales, Finance, Engineering, and Logistics.

  • Analyze supply chain performance across demand planning, purchasing, production, inventory, warehousing, and logistics.
  • Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, and key performance indicators for leadership and operational teams.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy, demand variability, inventory levels, supplier performance, production constraints, and customer service.
  • Identify material shortages, excess and obsolete inventory, capacity constraints, and other supply risks.
  • Support the SIOP process by preparing demand, supply, inventory, backlog, and capacity analyses.
  • Translate commercial forecasts into product-, model-, and quantity-based demand requirements by period.
  • Perform root-cause analysis on late orders, shortages, forecast misses, inventory variances, and supplier performance issues.
  • Recommend appropriate inventory policies, safety-stock levels, reorder points, lot sizes, and planning parameters.
  • Analyze purchasing and supplier data, including lead times, pricing, purchase price variance, on-time delivery, quality, and total cost.
  • Support production planning and scheduling through analysis of demand, capacity, material availability, and order priorities.
  • Partner with Finance to evaluate working capital, inventory exposure, cost savings, and business-case opportunities.
  • Support make-versus-buy, sourcing, freight, and network optimization analyses.
  • Improve ERP master data, including lead times, bills of material, sourcing rules, order policies, and planning parameters.
  • Automate recurring reports and reduce manual data collection through improved systems, tools, and processes.
  • Participate in ERP, advanced planning, business intelligence, and supply chain transformation projects.
  • Document analytical methods, reporting standards, and supply chain processes.
  • Support Lean and continuous-improvement initiatives across manufacturing and supply chain operations.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Finance, Analytics, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in supply chain analysis, production planning, inventory management, procurement, demand planning, logistics, or manufacturing operations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret large datasets and translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment with an understanding of material flow, production processes, and supply chain operations.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, Epicor, Infor, or similar).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, data analysis, and reporting.
  • Experience developing reports, dashboards, and KPIs using business intelligence tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, or similar platforms.
  • Knowledge of inventory management principles, forecasting methodologies, MRP, capacity planning, safety stock calculations, and supply planning processes.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform root cause analysis and identify opportunities for cost reduction, inventory optimization, and process improvement.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present findings to both operational teams and leadership.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and process discipline.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting Sales, Inventory, and Operations Planning (SIOP/S&OP) processes.
  • APICS/ASCM certifications such as CPIM, CSCP, or CLTD.
  • Experience with advanced planning systems (APS), demand planning tools, or inventory optimization software.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with SQL, database querying, data visualization, and report automation.
  • Understanding of supplier performance management, sourcing analysis, freight optimization, and total cost modeling.
