Job summary

Nesco Resource is seeking a Supply Chain Administrator in Grove City, OH to support daily supply chain and logistics operations in an automotive manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include PO and data management in ERP/MRP systems, tracking shipments, and supplier communications to ensure timely production.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, reporting, and cross-functional coordination with Purchasing, Production, and Logistics teams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Business or Supply Chain preferred.
• 1–3 years of experience in supply chain, logistics, purchasing, or administrative support (manufacturing or automotive preferred).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, QAD, Oracle, or similar.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Create, maintain, and update purchase orders, schedules, and supplier data in ERP/MRP systems.
• Track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate with suppliers regarding order confirmations, delivery issues, shortages, and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts.
• Monitor material shortages and elevate issues to planners or buyers.
• Support production planning with order status updates and reporting.
• Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly supply chain reports.
• Assist with freight coordination, documentation, and billing discrepancies.
• Maintain records for supplier performance, delivery metrics, and corrective actions.
• Provide general administrative support to the Supply Chain team.

Position Summary
