We are seeking a Supplier Quality Representative to support our client at Savannah River Site. This is a full-time, remote position available anywhere in the U.S., with extensive travel required weekly unless located near Spokane, WA.

Job Summary:

Provides Supplier Quality Surveillance at assigned supplier shops, following management instructions, project procedures, and corporate procurement policies. Ensures effective surveillance inspection services and conducts supplier surveys to assess organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain relationships with project management, engineering, construction, procurement, and inspection agencies.
• Coordinate with supplier management to resolve quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Perform supplier quality functions, analyze surveillance systems, and implement improvements as needed.
• Follow project schedules, perform detailed surveillance, and review schedule revisions for impacts.
• Work with project SQ, procurement, expediting, and engineering teams.
• Monitor supplier operations for conformity to technical and quality standards.
• Ensure compliance with government property control and review supplier quality assurance programs.
• Exercise authority to require corrective actions for defective work.
• Report after each supplier visit.

Requirements:

• Certified Welding Inspector (CWI)
• SQR with 6,000 hours of inspection experience
• Knowledge of policies, directives, procurement procedures, and interface with engineering and construction
• Extensive surveillance and inspection skills
• Training in quality, procurement, engineering, and legal aspects of procurement
• Knowledge of major suppliers' equipment and materials
• Level II Supplier Quality/Inspection certifications in Mechanical or Electrical NDE with at least 8,000 hours of experience
• Strong knowledge of ISO, ANSI, 10CFR50, NQA-1, FAR, and government contracts
• Experience with government property control and field engineering activities
