Ergotron, Inc. in Minnesota is seeking a Supply Chain Intern to support Purchasing, Sourcing, Warehousing, and Operations through data analysis, supplier management, and cost-improvement initiatives. The role offers hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment while helping improve efficiency, cost, and performance.

You will work cross-functionally with Sourcing, Purchasing, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Operations, and Finance to support day-to-day activities and supply chain projects.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with large data sets and basic analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to clarify expectations and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Purchasing & Supplier Support: assist with purchase orders, supplier, and delivery activities.
• Follow up with suppliers on open orders, delivery commitments, shortages, and corrective actions.
• Assist with identifying and resolving material shortages and supply constraints.
• Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting: analyze purchasing, inventory, supplier performance, lead-time, delivery, and cost data.
• Identify trends, exceptions, and opportunities for improvement.
• Warehouse, Inventory & Material Management: analyze safety stock, MOQ, lead times, and material availability.
• Support initiatives to improve material flow from Supplier, warehouse, to point of use.
• Continuous Improvement & Cross-Functional Project Support: partner with Operations on supply chain projects.
• Support cost-reduction, process-improvement, and supplier optimization initiatives.
• Support new product development, supplier transitions, sourcing initiatives, and production-readiness activities.
