Cretex Medical in Bloomington, MN offers a summer internship as a Sourcing/Supplier Quality Engineer Intern. You will support supplier quality projects, assist with evaluations, and help implement process improvements within the Supply Chain & Quality department.

The role requires enrollment in a four-year degree in Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering; strong communication skills; and proficiency with MS Office.

Qualifications

• Enrollment in a four-year degree program in Supply Chain, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as technical drawings, specifications, requirements, standards, procedure manuals, etc.
• Project management and leadership skills.
• Demonstrate excellent interpersonal and team building skills to create effective working coworkers.
• Ability to follow through on commitments and hold team members accountable.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Microsoft Office proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher).
• Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask.

Responsabilités

• Provide internal technical support for purchased materials.
• Assist with supplier evaluations and supplier corrective actions.
• Assist with documentation updates such as inspection procedures or drawings.
• Assist with the implementation of process improvements related to incoming materials, purchasing and suppliers.
• Partners with the other business segments: sales/marketing, customer service, engineering, quality, and finance as needed.
• Understands customer needs and the core business markets we serve.
• Supports and complies with the company’s Quality System, ISO, and medical device requirements.
• Completes all other work duties as assigned.
