Job summary

Pentangle Tech Services | P5 Group is seeking a Supplier Quality / Performance Engineer for manufacturing environments. Qualifications

• 5–12+ years in Supplier Quality / Supplier Development.
• Experience with APQP, PPAP, PFMEA and Control Plans.
• Experience in Manufacturing Oversight and quality monitoring.
• Strong customer communication skills.
• Willing to travel extensively (paid by client).

Responsibilities

• Work directly with suppliers to monitor production, quality, testing and delivery performance.
• Identify and mitigate supplier and manufacturing risks.
• Support Supplier Oversight and Supplier Improvement Plans.
• Drive corrective actions and issue resolution with suppliers.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Supply Chain, Engineering and Program teams.
• Help ensure components are manufactured and delivered safely, correctly and on schedule.

Required Experience:

5–12+ years Supplier Quality/Supplier Development

APQP/PPAP/PFMEA/Control Plan

Manufacturing Oversight

Strong Customer Communication

Willing to travel extensively (Paid by client).

Experience with one or more of the following is highly desirable:

• Manufacturing / Quality Plans
• PFMEA
• Control Plans
• SPC / Cpk
• APQP / PPAP
• Supplier qualification and development
• Corrective and Preventative Action
• Supplier quality auditing

Relevant industry backgrounds include nuclear, power generation, aerospace & defense, oil & gas, refining, shipbuilding, automotive, heavy manufacturing, industrial equipment, fabrication, and precision machining.

Role Responsibilities

• Resources will work directly with suppliers to:
