Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; AIAG training appreciated.
• 2+ years in quality role with supervisory responsibility.
• Knowledge of AIAG standards (PQP, PPAP, PFMEA, Cpk, SPC, 8D).
• Strong SAP experience or equivalent QA software.
• Quality control/assurance experience in manufacturing; lean mindset.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement supplier quality management system.
• Supervise supplier quality engineers; assign work and evaluate performance.
• Investigate and resolve supplier-related quality issues including non-conformances and customer complaints.
• Evaluate supplier performance and approve changes; conduct first article inspection.
• Lead cross-functional teams to resolve material quality issues and drive corrective actions.
• Engage with suppliers to ensure timely resolution and prevent recurrence.
• Maintain strong supplier relationships for continuous improvement.
• Oversee audits of processes and systems at suppliers.
