Job summary

Gutor in Houston, TX is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead supplier qualification, audits, and CAPA under the company’s Supplier Quality Management program. You will deploy and execute PQP processes, manage PPEP and PPEP-related activities, and monitor incoming inspection to ensure high-quality supplies for the plant.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in engineering, at least 8 years of experience in supply quality assurance in electrical/power electronics, and-Six Sigma or ISO 9001

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field (electrical, mechanical or electronic).
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply quality assurance within electrical or power electronics.
• Certified SAM Auditor or equivalent qualification with supplier audit experience.
• Experience with PPEP or equivalent part qualification procedures and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic support to the Supply Chain Manager in supplier assessment and qualification.
• Lead and participate in SAM, SQM, and SPM processes to optimize the plant’s supplier panel.
• Implement PPEP within the Product Evolution Process and support PPEP for produced parts.
• Manage incoming inspection, monitor supplier quality performance, and drive containment and corrective actions.
