GEOTEK LLC is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to own quality across supplier interactions at our Stewartville site and plants in Minnesota, Georgia, and Utah. You’ll lead root-cause analysis, drive corrective actions, and perform ISO 9001 audit activities with our quality and supply chain teams.

You don’t need composites experience; transferable quality skills in metals or other industries apply. Expect domestic travel 25–50% and an office-plus-floor role in Stewartville.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in quality or manufacturing engineering with supplier experience.
• Hands-on with process control and collaboration with supply chain.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 and structured problem solving.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and GD&T
• Challenging suppliers and influencing cross-functional teams

Responsibilities

• Visit supplier sites, inspect their manufacturing process and drive fixes at the source.
• Issue SCARs, perform root cause analyses (8D, 5 Why) and push for effective corrective actions.
• Run supplier process and QMS audits against ISO 9001 and GEOTEK requirements.
• Qualify new suppliers and parts via first article inspection and part approvals.
• Build process controls with suppliers, including control plans, PFMEA and SPC on critical characteristics.
• Own supplier scorecards and lead quality reviews with key suppliers.
• Coordinate containment, returns and chargebacks with Purchasing and plants.
• Work with Engineering to ensure drawings and specs are clear before supplier involvement
