Job summary

Method360 Talent Acquisition is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer (SQE) to support an electronics manufacturing team. You will ensure incoming materials meet quality standards, drive containment and corrective actions with suppliers, and audit local suppliers in collaboration with R&D, IQC, and vendors.

The role requires interpreting drawings, knowledge of SMT/FA processes, and familiarity with GD&T and IPC-A-610.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with 1+ year in SQE, supplier development, or internal auditing.
• Interpret engineering drawings and specifications; knowledge of SMT and FA manufacturing processes; familiarity with GD&T and IPC-A-610 inspection criteria.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 standards.
• Hands-on experience with quality control tools, Kaizen implementation, and root cause analysis.
• Effective English communication for reporting and global collaboration.
• Willingness to travel for supplier audits; PPE provided.

Responsibilities

• Create non-conforming material reports and NCRs with vendors; verify drawings with R&D; issue NCRs for corrective/preventive actions.
• Evaluate raw material issues and request failure analysis as needed.
• Contain non-conforming material in MRB; coordinate segregation and disposition; issue purge notices in WiSQMS.
• Follow up on SCARs and audit local suppliers.
• Monitor material engineering changes in IQC; create, approve, and maintain SIPs in WiSQMS.
• Collaborate with IQC engineers across SQM and IQC roles.
