Job summary

EVONA is seeking a Senior Supplier Quality Engineer in Westminster, CO to strengthen supplier quality across complex aerospace electronics and hardware. You will develop and maintain AS9100-aligned processes, collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Supply Chain, and lead SCARs and CAPA to ensure top quality from suppliers.

The role requires 5–8+ years in aerospace supplier quality, strong knowledge of AS9100, and ability to drive root-cause investigations and supplier qualifications.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, or a related technical discipline.
  • 5–8+ years of supplier quality experience within aerospace/defense.
  • Strong knowledge of AS9100 or other certified Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience managing suppliers supporting machining, PCBs, PCBAs, electronic assemblies, or aerospace hardware.
  • Proven experience with supplier audits, supplier qualification, SCARs, CAPA, and root cause analysis.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and supplier flow‑down requirements.
  • Strong communication, supplier management, and cross‑functional collaboration skills.
  • Experience within aerospace electronics manufacturing is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain supplier quality processes in accordance with AS9100 requirements.
  • Partner with Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, and Manufacturing to ensure supplier compliance with quality and technical requirements.
  • Qualify, evaluate, and manage supplier performance throughout the supplier lifecycle.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to suppliers to improve quality and manufacturing performance.
  • Lead supplier corrective actions (SCARs), root cause investigations, and corrective action implementation.
  • Manage supplier nonconformances, RMAs, rework, and disposition activities.
  • Conduct supplier audits and source inspections as required.
  • Analyze supplier performance metrics, including quality, delivery, and corrective action effectiveness.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and build strong supplier partnerships.
  • Support Design for Manufacturability (DFM) initiatives alongside engineering teams.

Education
