Job summary

TekWissen is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer I to support Six Sigma, SPC/process control, and quality initiatives at supplier partners in Warsaw, IN. The role focuses on gap assessments, development plans, and training material deployment to improve supplier performance.

The position emphasizes mentoring suppliers on lean and quality tools, tracking multiple projects, and coordinating supplier development activities on site. Temporary assignment for 12 months.

Qualifications

• Requires strong background in statistics, SPC, and process control.
• Experience with quality tools and audits.
• Leadership, communication, and mentoring skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist Six Sigma, problem solving, SPC/process control at supplier sites.
• Support initial gap assessments and develop supplier development plans.
• Refine training materials for supplier development program.
• Monitor supplier progress against objectives and goals.
• Coach suppliers on Six Sigma, lean, and quality tools.
• Coordinate supplier development activities and time allocation.
