Job summary

The role involves shop-floor problem solving, applying Six Sigma tools, reviewing drawings with GD&T, and coordinating with suppliers within a formal contract-management framework. Onsite work requires safety boots and travel within the facility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with quality management principles and tools (FMEA, SPC, RCA, Control Plans).
• Experience reading complex part drawings and GD&T.

Responsibilities

• Lead and facilitate quality solutions for urgent shop floor issues, focusing on permanent corrective actions.
• Perform quality planning primarily focused on fluid conveyance but may include hydraulics, metal fabrication, or fasteners.
• Execute Design Process and Assembly Reviews (DPARs) and design reviews for new/current products.
• Use Six Sigma and other quality tools to identify and address quality concerns for externally manufactured parts and assemblies.
• Lead supplier Quality Improvement Teams.
