Job summary

Kelly Services is seeking a Commodity Supplier Quality Engineer to support a premier manufacturing client in Waterloo, IA. The role focuses on leading quality solutions for shop floor issues, driving permanent corrective actions, and coordinating cross-functional teams to ensure robust supplier quality processes.

The position is a 2-year contract, onsite, with a competitive $37/hour W2 pay rate and weekly payroll.

Qualifications

Degree in Technology, Engineering, Communications, Business, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
Experience in Supplier Quality Engineering and/or Quality Engineering.
Knowledge of project management and cross-functional team leadership.

Responsibilities

Lead and facilitate quality solutions for shop floor and customer issues with permanent corrective actions.
Perform quality planning for fluid conveyance, hydraulics, metal fabrication, or fasteners, including change requests.
Execute DPARs, print reviews, and design reviews for products.
Utilize Six Sigma and quality tools to address quality concerns for externally manufactured parts and assemblies.
Lead supplier Quality Improvement Teams with cross-functional project teams.
