Job summary

Woodward is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer I or II in Spartanburg, SC to monitor supplier performance, drive quality improvements, and collaborate across engineering and procurement functions. This role supports both LEVEL I and LEVEL II responsibilities with a strong focus on data-driven quality management and documentation.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Aerospace Quality or regulated manufacturing, technology, operations related field.
• Interprets engineering drawings
• GD&T knowledge
• AS9145 APQP understanding
• Understands statical process control

Responsibilities

• LEVEL I: Monitor supplier performance and assess quality metrics.
• LEVEL I: Resolve supplier-related quality issues and implement corrective actions.
• LEVEL I: Enhance quality processes with suppliers to meet requirements.
• LEVEL I: Maintain quality documentation and records of supplier performance.
• LEVEL I: Facilitate cross-functional communication with procurement and engineering.
