Job summary

Woodward Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer I or II to monitor supplier performance and drive quality improvements across aerospace and regulated manufacturing suppliers.

Roles cover root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and cross-functional collaboration with procurement and engineering. LEVEL I focuses on foundational supplier quality processes, while LEVEL II expands to leadership in improvement projects and advanced analytics.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years in Aerospace Quality or regulated manufacturing, technology, operations related field.
• Interprets engineering drawings
• GD&T knowledge
• AS9145 APQP understanding
• Understands statical process control

Responsibilities

• Monitor Supplier Performance: Evaluates supplier quality metrics and conducts regular assessments to ensure compliance with company standards.
• Resolve Quality Issues: Identifies root causes of supplier related quality problems and implements effective corrective actions.
• Enhance Quality Processes: Collaborates with suppliers to develop and improve quality control procedures that meet customer and company requirements.
• Maintain Quality Documentation: Prepares and manages detailed reports and records related to supplier quality performance and compliance.
• Facilitate Cross Functional Communication: Works with internal teams such as procurement and engineering to align on quality standards and address supplier concerns.
