Job summary
RFA Engineering in Dubuque, IA is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to lead the development and validation of welded fabrications and sheet metal components. You will assess supplier capabilities, tooling, fixturing, inspection methods, and quality systems to ensure production readiness and conformance to engineering drawings and GD&T.
The ideal candidate will have a mechanical or quality engineering background, 3+ years in supplier quality or related manufacturing roles, strong welding
Qualifications
- Strong welding processes knowledge and fabrication methods.
- Ability to read and apply engineering drawings and GD&T requirements.
- Experience evaluating manufacturing process controls and quality systems.
Responsibilities
- Develop and validate supplier capabilities for welded fabrications and sheet metal components.
- Assess supplier processes, tooling, fixturing, inspection methods, and quality systems for production readiness.
- Lead supplier audits and capability assessments focused on fabrication, welding, machining, and inspection.
