Job summary

The Pivot Group Network is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Grand Haven, MI to strengthen supplier quality processes with local manufacturers. You will develop supplier quality improvement plans, perform supplier audits, and drive corrective actions to ensure component quality.

Collaborating with sourcing and engineering, you will qualify new suppliers, monitor KPIs, and support new product introductions, contributing to continuous improvement and reliability across the supply chain.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 3+ years experience in quality, supplier quality, or manufacturing engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of quality management systems (ISO 9001, AS9100) and quality tools (FMEA, PPAP, SPC, 8D).
• Experience performing supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

• Experience performing supplier audits and driving corrective actions.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T.

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience with advanced quality planning (AQP) tools like APQP, PPAP, and FMEA.
• Certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001 or IATF 16949.
• Strong data analysis skills, including Minitab proficiency and application of statistical process control (SPC).
• Experience with supplier development programs and continuous improvement initiatives.
