Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 3+ years in medical device or aerospace environment.
• 3+ years in a quality role and 1+ year gathering data and performing root cause corrective action.
• Experience in aerospace, medical device, or manufacturing environments.
• Experience with Quality Management Systems (QMS) within a supplier quality organization.

Responsibilities

• Represents Quality on team activities to integrate QMS requirements into proposals and processes.
• Drives supplier quality performance, including new product development and product quality improvement.
• Provides quality interpretation of requirements and develops quality metrics and certification plans.
• Conducts capability assessments and process validations for supplier selection.
• Maintains supplier and customer quality records.
• Supports suppliers in executing and verifying effectiveness of corrective actions.
• Acts as lead auditor for onsite and remote supplier qualification audits.
• Writes and updates QMS documentation.
• Participates in reviews to ensure quality attributes in product designs.
• Performs analysis, tests and audits to ensure manufacturing readiness.
• Provides disposition for non-conformances and analyzes trends.
• Recommends actions to address non-conformances and leads investigations of supplier-caused issues.
• Travels to suppliers for qualification, development, and onsite inspection as required.

Education
