Brewer Science, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer in Rolla, MO to drive quality in the supply base and coordinate with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams.

You will lead DFMEA/PFMEA activities, manage change controls, and monitor supplier performance to improve product quality. The role emphasizes systematic problem solving, data-driven metrics, and collaboration across functions to meet internal and external customer expectations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Chemical, Manufacturing, or Material Science Engineering or related field.
• Equivalent combination of education and related experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the implementation of quality systems with design, R&D, QC, and manufacturing teams.
• Ensure customer requirements are in product specs and lead DFMEA/PFMEA for design validation.
• Ensure documentation is in place before starting production.
• Collaborate with quality, applications, and manufacturing teams to reduce nonconformance and drive corrective actions.
• Manage data packages for change control and customer notifications.
• Support SPC practices to monitor and improve the manufacturing process.
• Assist in implementing best practices for chemical manufacturing.
• Follow documented quality procedures and standards.
• Support supplier development activities including audits and non-conformance management.
• Collect and analyze data to track quality metrics.
• Conduct post-batch reviews to ensure quality requirements.
