Job summary

Brewer Science, Inc. in Rolla, MO is seeking a Quality Engineer II/III to lead quality systems for development and manufacturing of semiconductor technologies. You will drive DFMEA/PFMEA, SPC, and supplier quality programs while collaborating with design, R&D, and manufacturing teams.

The role emphasizes cross-functional problem solving, audits, data analysis, and continuous improvement. Experience with quality documentation and training is valued, with opportunities for mentorship.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant engineering discipline with experience in quality systems.
Experience applying DFMEA/PFMEA and SPC to manufacturing processes.
Ability to lead audits and supplier development initiatives.
Strong data analysis, root cause investigations, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

Support the implementation of quality systems with design, development, quality control, and manufacturing teams.
Lead risk analyses and ensure specifications meet customer needs.
Maintain documentation before production and monitor process improvements.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to reduce nonconforming material and customer complaints.
Coordinate change control data packages and customer notifications.
Perform supplier audits and drive supplier quality improvements.
Analyze quality metrics and conduct post-batch reviews.
Provide training on quality processes and mentor junior staff.
