Job summary

Reliable Safety & Flow Corporation is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to serve as the primary liaison with suppliers on quality of purchased components, subassemblies, and assemblies. The role partners with Global Sourcing and Design Engineering to ensure quality requirements are understood and implemented at supplier locations.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering with strong problem-solving skills, experience in manufacturing quality systems, and knowledge of ISO 9001.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent quality experience.
• Experience in manufacturing quality systems.
• Familiarity with supplier quality processes.

Responsibilities

• Communicate quality requirements to suppliers.
• Conduct supplier quality audits on-site.
• Develop test & inspection criteria.
• Issue SCARs for nonconforming product.
• Analyze root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Compile KPI reports on supplier quality trends.
• Coordinate containment of quarantines.
• Prepare supplier reports for internal teams.
